There is a fellow who stops in my booth every year at the American Craft Council show. He doesn't like many chairs he tells me. He doesn't even like my other chairs. He likes this one. It fits.
This chair has a deeply sculpted seat that you sink into. The spindles have a lumbar curve to fit your lower back. It features distinctive arms, sculpted with a gentle curve toward the front. The legs fan out and have a noticable back curve. The chair shown here is in cherry; Walnut also looks nice.
