I was thinking of the western desert and leather saddles and small animals when I made this chair. A relatively small side chair, it features a deeply scooped wooden seat and a wonderfully curved crest rail. The crest is one piece of wood, cut twice and rejoined at angles to form a swooping upward curve. I make it in cherry but I think it lookes best in black walnut.
